WEMT is an acronym for the subjects offered in the course: Writing, English, Mathematics, and Thinking Skills. These form the core subjects that allow students at Pre-Uni New College to develop a strong foundation across these four subjects. In addition to building students' numerical, reading, and writing abilities, the course also offers weekly challenges to enhance students' logical reasoning and critical thinking.

Yes. As part of the onboarding process, all prospective students are asked to take an evaluation exam that tests students across Mathematics, English, and Thinking Skills/General Ability. The results of these tests are then analysed using an advanced computerised marking system, yielding a comprehensive analysis for each student. This allows for students to be placed at a suitable class level, thereby addressing their individual learning needs.

The Trial Test Course imparts crucial examination techniques necessary for achieving success in the Selective High School tests or OC Placement tests. During this course, students engage in mock exams utilising sample papers comprising both previously used questions and projected questions for the current year's tests. Once the tests are concluded, students are provided the chance to go over challenging questions and incorrect responses alongside their tutors. These tests are administered under stringent examination conditions, affording students an early familiarity with the authentic examination environment. This preparation significantly reduces anxiety and boosts confidence among students, as they are well-prepared for the actual examination scenario.

Each term, there will be assessments conducted to aid instructors in crafting more precise progress evaluations. These test outcomes will also serve as a basis for Student Advisors to assign grades to students and convey this information to parents. At the conclusion of each term, parents will receive comprehensive test outcomes and individualised reports.

All our teachers at Pre-Uni New College are selected based on their teaching credentials and prior experience in the public or private educational sector. This allows students to receive effective teaching expertise, which is an instrumental component for students to achieve their goals.

Students are assigned homework every week to consolidate their learning and address their learning needs. As such, it is important that students engage with the assigned task to ensure that difficult concepts can be addressed. We encourage parents to provide assistance where possible in completing the assigned homework.

Our initial recommendation is to explore our Cyberschool platform, which offers video tutorials for every question within the modules for each week. Additionally, there are dedicated days during which we delve deeper into each subject corresponding to the various year groups.

Our classes are named by date and time. In particular, MC refers to the 'morning class' and AC refers to the 'afternoon class'.
